Energy frame
An energy label is a document that provides information about the energy condition of a property and is required by law when selling residential and certain commercial properties.
Energy labeling has two purposes
- The label should make the building’s energy consumption visible and act as a product declaration when a building is sold or rented out.
- The label should provide an overview of energy improvements that are profitable to implement: What they are, what they cost to implement and how much savings can be achieved on electricity and heating bills.
The energy label can also be used todimension the size of a new heat pump, as a heat pump must be neither too small nor too large to be energy efficient.
Optimizing a retrofit, i.e. what does it pay to retrofit.
To optimize the heat pump including insulation based on an overall assessment.
